Ms Sadina Bina, General Manager of MCF EKI

MS Bina has 13 years experience in the microfinanace sector. She has been with the World Vision’s microcredit program since the very beginning in 1996, by establishment of microlending activities in B&H, and built her career at a number positions starting as a Loan Officer and promoted to positions of Branch Manager, Operations Manager, and finally, by founding Microcredit Organization EKI, she was appointed as the Executive Director of the newly established institution in 2001.

Prior to microfinance Ms Bina worked for Local Commerzial Bank in Credit Department. The main achievements of Ms Bina are: leading one of the most successful MCO’s in B&H, organized functioning of a decentralized management team, awarded by the Panel of successful business experts and other organizations as the ‘Manager of the Year’ for 2003 and again in 2007 for the microcredit sector and development of micro-business in B&H. She is responsible for the increase of EKI funds, representing the organization, realization of the strategic priorities, ensuring that EKI has a leading role in microfinance sector in B&H in providing services to the population defined by mission of EKI, ensuring stable growth and development of institutional capacities.

Ms Bina is educated at the Sarajevo University, and has got a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Economics, Faculty of Economics.
